The ๐๐ก๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ค ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ D‘๐๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ (๐๐๐๐) has long been committed to the responsible development and preservation of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed in Italy. Through the dedication of its leadership and members, the club has been actively involved in promoting ethical breeding practices, educating breeders and owners, and fostering constructive cooperation with veterinarians, judges, and international ridgeback organizations. Their work focuses on aligning modern breeding with scientific knowledge, transparency, and respect for the breedโs original purpose and welfare.
In their presentation, the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Italy will introduce a proposed voluntary certification project designed to evaluate and document health, temperament, and morphological traits in Rhodesian Ridgebacks. The project aims to support breeders and owners by providing a structured, transparent framework that encourages responsible breeding decisions, improves breed monitoring, and strengthens trust within the worldwide ridgeback community.
