Linda Costa is a respected Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder, author, judge and breed historian with deep roots in the African lines of the breed. She is known for the Sarula Kennel, originally from Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia), now based in Australia.
Her work spans decades, with a special interest in preserving the heritage, pedigrees, and original qualities of the Rhodesian Ridgeback. One of her notable contributions is the book “Rhodesian Ridgeback Pioneers”, considered essential reading for breed enthusiasts and those interested in the historical foundations of the Ridgeback.
At the Rhodesian Ridgeback World Congress 2026, Linda will present her talk “Khumbula: Breeder’s Memoir”, sharing stories and reflections from her lifelong journey with the breed.
