Her journey with Rhodesian Ridgebacks began in 2005, when she bought her first Ridgeback, Simba. He was the dog who made her fall in love with the breed and set her on a lifelong path dedicated to Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

Her second Ridgeback, Maverick, imported from Australia, introduced her to the world of dog shows and responsible breeding. Through Maverick, Petra gained valuable experience and insight into the international show and breeding scene, further shaping her philosophy as both a breeder and dog professional.

Her professional career is equally devoted to canine health and welfare. In 2011, Petra graduated from the Veterinary University in Brno, where she continued to work as an assistant in orthopaedics and neurosurgery. She expanded her expertise through internships at the Veterinary Clinic of Purdue University and at the Veterinary University in Berlin.

Currently, Petra divides her time between working at the university, running a private practice as an orthopaedic specialist, and caring for her two sons. This unique combination of academic knowledge, clinical experience, and hands-on breeding practice gives her a comprehensive and balanced perspective on dogs, their health, and their development.
